After we modified them to install a wearable camera inside a transparent celestial globe, we connected them to a smartphone or tablet PC via Wi-Fi. This celestial globe teaching tool is useful to evaluate the apparent movement of stars and constellations on the“ celestial sphere” from a viewpoint outside of the earth (state of viewing the celestial globe from the outside) and from the viewpoint of a person on the Earth surface (the state of viewing from the inside of the celestial globe).Undergraduates who wish to be science teachers evaluated the celestial globe as useful for the following reasons: (1) One can ascertain the state of celestial movement simultaneously from two viewpoints. (2) The celestial globe helps to explain the apparent motion of the celestial body.
