The children, from Fukuri to Yamata(names), totalled 17. The terms mekakebara and wakibara were used and referred to the women with whom the elites had a relationship with. The places of birth ranged from Shiraho Village on Ishigaki Island, to Aragusuku Village, Hateruma Village and various other places in Yaeyama. The children also ranged from 4 to 43 years of age. These children were probably conceived when the elites went on business trips around the villages. The order recognises them as citizens and orders them to be recorded in the Shounanjochou (record of tax payers) so as to collect taxes.
