The guidelines concerned issues such as the employment regulations for the Yaeyama Zaiban and Kashira, regulations for the timely contact with the Shuri Government, the general employment regulations for various positions within the Kuramoto etc. Administrative guidelines for Yaeyama were first established in 1740 by Peechin Nomura. Since then, this was amended by Oyakata Yoseyama, and then Oyakata Onaga, which is the version on hand.
