The document was dated 18 January 1786. It was written that Chen Tai-ning and others sailed into strong winds on 3 December 1784 and drifted ashore Yaeyama on the 15th. Also, there were records of his intentions to return to Fu Jian Province with Chen Jie who also drifted ashore around the same time.
