The offshore tsunami observation points around Okinawa and the Sakishima Islands, as well as the tsunami source areas, were first set, and then we numerically simulated tsunami and calculated the differences in their arrival times between offshore and coastal observation points. As a result, the detection time for tsunami generated in the Ryukyu Trench was shortened ~10 –20 minutes via offshore tsunami observations. For tsunami generated near the Okinawa Trough, the detection time was s hortened to ~10–30 minutes. These results suggest that the offshore tsunami observation network enables the detection of tsunami and the correction of tsunami warning information more quickly than do coastal tsunami observation points alone., 紀要論文}, pages = {21--32}, title = {沖合津波観測システムによる沖縄近海での津波早期検知の可能性}, year = {2020} }
