Milne-Edwards, 1867), マルハシワオウギガニ (改称) M. demani (Odhner, 1925) およびヒメシワオウギガニM. orientalis (Takeda & Miyake, 1969) を報告した. これら5種のうちノコハシワオウギガニ, コブテシワオウギガニ, マルハシワオウギガニの3種は日本沿岸からの初記録である. 本稿では, これら5種にシワオウギガニM. distinguendus De Haan, 1835を加えた日本産シワオウギガニ属全6種の検索表も与えた., Five species of the xanthid genus Macromedaeus Ward, 1942, viz. M. nudipes (A. Milne-Edwards, 1867), M. quinquedentatus (Krauss, 1843), M. crassimanus (A. Milne-Edwards, 1867), M. demani (Odhner, 1925) and M. orientalis (Takeda & Miyake, 1969), are reported based on specimens collected from the Ryukyu Islands and the southern part of Kyushu. The present study represents the first records of M. nudipes, M. quinquedentatus and M. demani to the Japanese fauna. An identification key to the six species of Macromedaeus recorded from Japan, including M. distinguendus De Haan, 1835, is also provided., 論文},
