In this document, texts from the “Old Records of the Kume Nakazato-Magiri”, the “Old Records of the Kume Gushikawa-Magiri” and the “Omoro of Kumejima” have been transcribed. In 1713 the Ryukyu government compiled the “History of Ryukyu Kingdom”, the basis of the information for this compilation was the information submitted from each of the Magiri. The result of this was the “Old Records of the Kume Nakazato-Magiri” and the “Old Records of the Kume Gushikawa-Magiri”. In the original script both of these along with Nakahara Zenchuu’s work are included.Within the document, it is understood that the “Old Records of the Kume Gushikawa-Magiri” was transcribed from a book of Nakahara Zenchu's, but it is not yet confirmed what the origins of the other two transcribed documents are.Also, there are maps of Kumejima and newspaper articles related to the “Old Records of the Kume Nakazato-Magiri” attached.
