It looks like it was produced with the aim of helping to compile history; it contains the important epitaphs of Ryukyu, mainly distributed throughout Naha and Shuri. There are many different editions of the Himonki (Shoke-bon) and Himonkizen. This book, nicknamed the “Iha-bon”, was part of Iha Fuyu’s library. A valuable historical record for the research of lost or damages epitaphs.
