 note = {Effectiveness of the Ethephon as an inducer of flowering of the pineapple plant was tested on Ishigaki Island of the Ryukyus. The results were as follows: Flowering of the pineapple plant was effectively induced even by the day time treatment with Ethephon in the summer season. Incorporation of urea into Ethephon solution appeared to bring about more flowering than Ethephon alone. Ethephon treatment resulted in more uniform and prompt flowering than NAA. Induced flowering was not markedly different with application frequency (once or twice) of Ethephon, but it appeared to be affected more by injection than spraying of Ethephon to the pineapple plant., 論文},
