New mulberry (R1) with excellent characteristics was obtained. R1 is faster in growth and remarkably heavy in leaf weight. R1 has erect branches unlike Simaguwa, and it is ready to introduce machinery in to the manegement of mulberry fields. Moreover, it has more power of resistance to the drought damage and the wind damage in winter than Tai-song No.2. R1 does not suffer from Septobasidium bogoriense Patouillard unlike Tai-song No.2. It is certain that these characteristics are very useful for multiple rearing in the sericulture of Okinawa., 論文}, pages = {41--47}, title = {赤土流失防止と農地及び水利用}, volume = {24}, year = {1989} }
