The necessity of dental treatmerits for HIV/AIDS patients increases still more. The subject of this survey is the HIV/-AIDS patients on the department of internal medicine I in Ryukyu university hospital that is one of the mam hospitals for HIV/AIDS treatments in Okinawa. We were able to receive the replies from 14 patients within 30 patients we could have obtained informedHIV (Human immunodeficiency virus) infection turns chronic disease because of the progress of HAART (highly active antiretroviral therapy). The necessity of dental treatmernts for HIV/AIDS patients increases still more.
