The noise levels were measured by the method of JIS Z 8731( 1966 ). The results are summarized as follows : 1) The average of noise levels throughout 28 places was 58.1 dB (A) during the daytime (9 a.m. - - 5 p.m. ). The mean noise levels at the districts which were classified according to use zoningwere highest in commercial district ( 64.9 dB (A ) ) and lowest in both exclusive residential and quasi-industrial districts ( 54.3 dB( A ) ). The noise level in residential district was rather high ( 56.8 dB(A) ) because of urban sprawl. 2) The similar noise exposure time was observed in every district. The percentage of exposure time which exceeded 70 dB (A) in each one hour of the daytime was 26.7% in commercial district, 9.5% in residential district, 8.1% in exclusive residential district, 7.7% in quasi-industrial district, respectively. 3) The effect of aircraft noise has extended more than one kilometer even when the noise was considered to be point sound source. Therefore we propose that all-around city planning should be established to control environmental noise in the city., 論文}, pages = {199--206}, title = {[原著]宮古平良市の街頭騒音調査}, volume = {6}, year = {1983} }
