The results are as follows. 1) Liver: As the stimulation of I.C.C. elongates, degeneration due to heat develops deeper into the tissue from capsule to glisson's sheeth and cells of the lobules, and it gets about 3mm depth in the center of the field at three second contact irradiation. 2) Cheek membrane: Within the epithelium, flattening of spinose cell layer as well as vacuolar degeneration of basal cell layer are recognized.
