The age,sex.clinical symptoms,history of head trauma, interval from onset to operation, CT, magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).hematoma volume and outcome were analyzed. 1) In the outcomes,47(92%) resulted in good recovery 2 (4%)in severely disabled, and 2(4%)in dead. Deaths were all due to malignant neoplasm. Recurrence was found in 2 cases; DIC secondary to bone metastasis from gastric cancer in one and failure of drainage in another case. 2) Nine(18%) patients were over 80 years in age. It is to be noted that the incidense is high compared with other reports, and good recovery was gained in 8 patients. 3) Magnetic resonance imagings differenciate hematoma clearly from the brain even if the hematoma is isodensity in CT. Its coronal image gives the better and detailed understanding of the hematoma and the shift of midline structures., 論文}, pages = {1--12}, title = {[原著]琉球大学脳神経外科における慢性硬膜下血腫51例の検討}, volume = {11}, year = {1989} }
