The patient was admitted to the University Hospital on July 14, 1986, with a diagnosis of recurrent carcinoma of the stomach. His past history revealed that he had total gastrectomy for carcinoma of the stomach (Borrmann 2 type, moderately-differentiated adenocarcinoma, stage III) 7 years prior to this admission. On admission, he appeared ill with a complaint of swallowing disturbance. Upper GI sereies demonstrated a stricture of the esophagus at esophagojejunostomy. Endoscopic examination also showed a complete stricture of the distal esophagus. The biopsied specimen revealed non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma. At surgery, the esophagojejunostomy site was markedly involved by carcinoma, spreading onto the diaphragma and down to the paraaortic region. The involved portion of the esophagus and jejunum with the surrounding tissues was resected. He was treated with irradiation after surgery. He is doing well 6 months after surgery., 論文}, pages = {44--49}, title = {[症例報告]胃癌胃全摘7年後に合併した吻合部食道癌の1例}, volume = {10}, year = {1987} }
