The patient was instituted to the local hospital for treatment of her compression fracture of the lumbar vertebrae on January 22, 1990, and placed on non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Ten days after admission, she developed hematoemesis and anal bleeding. Gastric endoscopy demonstrated a large mass on the anterior wall of the antrum. She was referred to our university hospital on February 8 for further study. Gastric endoscopy and upper GI series showed the large mass with central craters which suggest of a submucosal tumor or Borrmann 2-type carcinoma. Histopathological findings of gastric tissue showed gastritis with eosinophilic infiltration and no evidence of Anisakis bodies. Seventeen days after onset of symptoms, gastric endoscopy could not detect the lesion. This vanishing tumor was thought to be ulceration secondary to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and discussed on etiology of the disease briefly., 論文}, pages = {75--78}, title = {[症例報告]胃幽門部のVanishing tumorの1例}, volume = {14}, year = {1994} }
