 note = {We had a patient with sleep apnea syndrome, whose circadian variation of blood pressure showed an unusual pattern that systolic blood pressure was higher in the nighttime (22:00-06:00) rather than the daytime (06:00-22:00). With bilateral tonsillectomy and weight reduction, he was much improved from sleepp apnea syndrome, and arterial oxygen tension increased from 65.0mmHg to 83.3mmHg. His circadian variation of blood pressure was also normalized and the heart rate in the nighttime was much lowered. Thus, an unusual circadian variation of blood pressure observed seemed to be associated with sympathetic activation triggered by hypoxia., 論文},
