 note = {Pyothorax due to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus was found on the seventh postoperative day after radical corrector! of Budd-Chiari syndrome in a fourty-nine-old man. Intravenous admistration of vancomycin, oral admistration of ofloxacin and contineous thoracic irrigation with povidone lodoine solution led to remission of pyothorax.
