The lesion was found on 12th Nov. 1990, although her previous chest roentgenogram on 11th Dec. 1989 showed no abnormality. The chest CT revealed clear margine of the tumor lesion without any calcification. The patient underwent thoracic surgery, on 11th Dec.1990. The cavity of the tumor in the resected right upper lobe was filled with a yellowish fluid (sulfur granule). Gram stain of the fluid of the tumor showed gram positive rods. The patient was treated with antibiotics for 4 months following the operation.
