The number of Aedes mosquito eggs, particularly in outdoor ovitraps, increased at the onset of the rainy season (November) in Barru, but increased in mid rainy season (January) in Ujungpandang. In the dry season (June-October), the number of eggs decreased in Barru, but not in Ujungpandang.
