In the present paper, we present our recovery with rehabilitation of oral function and received an implant-anchored prosthesis in patients who had been treated for oral cancer. The subjects were 5 postoperative oral cancer patients (2 males and 3 females) aged 57 to 77 (average $66.2 8.2\\pm $  yrs). The dental implant used in this study were hydroxyapatite plasma-sprayed. Speech function was analyzed by assessing pronouciation of the 100 Japanese syllables. Ingestion was evaluated with assessment of ingestive function. Masticatory function was evaluated with the Yamamoto's masticatory grade. Quality of life was assessed by questionnaire. Postoperative oral functions and QOL with implant-anchored prostheses were examined in all cases. Yamamoto's masticatory grade was 5 to 6 (average $5.4 \\pm 0.9$). Ingestive function score was 4 to 5 (average $4.8 \\pm 0.5$). Speech intelligibility test was 78.0 to 95.0 (average $85.0 \\pm 6.4$). QOL-score was 86 to 93 (average $89.8 \\pm 2.5$). These results indicated that postoperative oral functions and QOL were considerably improved.
