The proportin of the patients with malignant tumors in each year were always almost 3% of all patients in our ORL-Department. These patients were divided into the 6 locations, i.e. 59 cases in oral cavity (16.0 %), 118 in pharynx (32.0 %), 96 in larynx (26.0 %), 61 in nasal and paranasal cavities (16.5 %), 3 in ear (0.8 %) and 32 in the others (8.7 %), and were discussed with the bibliographical considerations. The male and female patients with malignant tumor were respectively 282 and 86, and the ratio of the male to the female was 3.3 : 1. The malignant tumors in head and neck were also found in the so-called cancer age of 50 and 60 years of both the male and female patients.
