A total of 424 patients were statistically observed. The results were as follows: 1) The ratio of the patients with malignant tumors in head and neck were almost always 4 % of all patients in our Oto Rhino Laryngological clinic in each year. 2) According to the age distribution, a majority, 364(86%)out of the 424 patients, were between 40 and 79 years of age, with the greatest numbers in the sixth decade of age. 3) According to the sex of the patients with malignant tumors, the male and female patients were 334 and 90 respectively. The ratio of the male to the female was 3.7 to 1. 4) According to the primary lesion and its proportion of the tumors, 72 cases were in oral cavity (17%), 140 in pharynx (33%), 65 in nasal cavity and paranasal sinus(15%), 108 in larynx(25%),3 in ear(0.7%), and 37 in others(8%). 5) In the patients with tumors of larynx, who diagnosed and treated at our clinic, the threeyear survival rate and the five-year surviral rate were calculated to be both 50%., 論文}, pages = {277--287}, title = {[原著]過去8年間における琉球大学保健学部附属病院耳鼻咽喉科悪性腫瘍統計}, volume = {4} }
