In this study, the relationship between each component has been discussed. Total glutathione, reduced glutathione, oxidized glutathione, total thiol compounds and the thiol compounds except glutathione are detected by the enzyme-spectrophotometrical method and the DTNB colorimetry, and total iron, heme iron and non-heme iron are determined by the bathophenanthroline method and the O-phenanthroline method in the same tonsilar tissues. The individual fluctuations of those measured are compared with those which have been previously reported, and, the sequences between non-heme iron and total glutathione or the thiol compounds except glutathione are evaluated in relation with the clinical findings. Regarding the individual fluctuations, the tendency of each thiol compounds is similar to those at the previous report, however, the different attitude which is concerned to the detective method of those in the tissues was found in the iron component. For the quantitative relationship between non-heme iron and total glutathione, and between non-heme iron and the thiol compounds except glutathione, the correlation in each tonsilar tissue, the partial and multiple correlation with ages, the correlation in each disease of palatine tonsils, the correlation in various stage of inflammation, the partial and multiple correlation with the hypertrophied degree of palatine tonsils, or the partial and multiple correlation with blood ASO titers are all insignificant at the level of 10% in the correlation and the partial correlation, and 5% in the multiple correlation, however, the level of the thiol compounds except glutathione and the level of non-heme iron in the palatine tonsils existed close relation in the multiple correlation with ages, also in the multiple correlation with the hypertrophy of palatine tonsils, and furthermore, it is referred to the importance of the thiol compounds except glutathione., 論文}, pages = {107--116}, title = {[原著]扁桃の酸化還元系物質 : SH化合物と鉄との関連性について}, volume = {1} }
