Adenoma sebaceum was found in his face in infancy. General convulsion appeared at about 30 year of age. It was controlled, though insufficiently, by administration with an antispasmodic. Intelligence began to decrease gradually 4 - 5 years before. Especially, the capacity for attention was reduced remarkably. The patient was admitted to the authors hospital on account of cumulative convulsion. In addition to the symptoms mentioned above, the following ones were noticed at the time of admission : Koenen tumor, bilateral renal tumors, disseminated calcification revealed by plain X - P of the head, formation of small pustules disclosed by X - P of distal phalanges of the four extremities, and particular calcification and nodulation along the wall of the lateral ventricle observed by CT scan. In brief, this was a case of tuberous sclerosis accompanied with various symptoms. In this case the disease was familial, involving the patient, one male younger cousin, four of seven children, and one grandchild. It was another point of interest that the patient was the oldest of all the surviving patients with this disease in Japan, so far as a literature review was concerned., 論文}, pages = {51--61}, title = {[原著]興味ある結節性硬化症の一例}, volume = {3} }
