 note = {Thirty-two students in the Okinawa Prefectural High School for the hearing impaired and five children in the Okinawa Prefectural Kindergarten for the hearing impaired were presented in order to study on the relation between hearing and speech in the hearing impaired children. we found the averaged hearing threshold over 80 dB at the both sides in 24 out of the 32 students and 3 out of the 5 children, and the latter (the 3 children) has a good communication through, speech with a good speech discrimination, but the former (the 24 students) has a difficult communication through speech with a bad speech discrimination. From this contrast, we recognized again here that it is very important to discover and educate the hearing impaired children in an early stage, because these high school students were found delated to be hearing impaired and educated delated in their childhood., 論文},
