They are of great diagnostic significance. A case of 39 years old male with brain stone was reported. He began to complain of diplopia at about 13 years of age. His visual power decreased gradually. A diagnosis of brain tumor was made on him. A surgical treatment was recommended with refusal. Convulsion began to appear frequently at 14 years of age. Right paresis and disturbance of speech were also induced. Anticonvulsants have been administered up to this time. Recently, the patient has been admitted to the hospital on account of difficulty in controlling convulsion. Plain skull films showed calcification of hen's egg size in the left frontal lobe. A surgical operation succeeded in removing a brain stone weighting 40g. Histological examination revealed the presence of necrotic tissure and calcification, but not inflammatory or tumorous changes. The origin of the changes observed was unknown, since the course of disease was long and changes in clinical symptoms were little. It was presurmed, however, to consist in brain abscess., 論文}, pages = {411--416}, title = {[原著]興味ある経過を示したBrain stoneの1例}, volume = {2} }
