 note = {We reviewed thirty cases with mediastinal-tumor during an 11-year period (1967-1977). Neurogenic tumor (10 cases), thymoma (9 cases) and lymphogenic tumor (5 cases) were among the most frequent in our series. Teratoma was very rare and only one case. There were two cases with myasthenia gravis and one with pure red cell anemiaas complication of thymoma. All cases with benign thymoma, including one with thymic cyst, were easily resectable and showed excellent prognosis. On the other hand, in three of five cases with malignant tumor, combined resections of not only tumor but adjacent structures were required. Prognoses of malignant thymoma were very poor and 60 percent of patients died within 9 months after the onset of disease. All cases with neurogenic tumor were benign, and all with lymphogenic tumor were classified as malignant lymphoma., 論文},
