 note = {A clinical profile on a case of Down's syndrome with diabetes mellitus (21-trisomy type) is reported and discussed. The patient, 17 years old, male, was at an onset of diabetes mellitus, with the symptoms of thirst, polyuria and emaciation about three weeks after a bone fracture accident. The blood sugar of the patient had been well controlled at first but after seven months of a remission-like stage the patients became overt with the high blood sugar level suddenly 500 mg/100ml. With a small dose of insulin injection the blood sugar level was controlled well, and no significant complication has been noticed. Both of our two cases, this case and the other case which we reported in 1972, were male and a family history of diabetes mellitus., 論文},
