～ 4 割が，「ジオツアー」あるいは「ジオパーク」という言葉を知っており，過去に対象地を訪れたことのある人が3 ～ 4 割を占めていた．過去に地形や地質の観察を主題としたイベントに実際に参加したことがある人の割合は比較的低かったが，ほぼ全員が今後ジオツアーに参加したいと回答した．2
