Of them, 18 had endometriosis, and 18 did not have endometriosis. Vaginal secretions, endometrial fluid, peritoneal fluid, and ovarian cystic fluid were collected during surgery. Next-generation sequencing of bacterial 16S rRNA was performed to characterize the microbiome.\nResults: Specific microbiomes were not detected in either peritoneal fluid or ovarian cystic fluid regardless of the presence or absence of endometriosis and the type of cyst. When the cutoff value of infectious bacterial abundance in the vagina was set as 64.3%, there were many cases more than a cutoff value in the endometriosis group significantly (p = 0.01). When the cutoff value of infectious bacterial abundance in the endometrium was set as 18.6%, there were many cases more than a cutoff level in the endometriosis cases significantly (p = 0.02).\nConclusion: Peritoneal fluid and ovarian cystic fluid are almost sterile, although dysbiosis may occur in the vaginal and endometrial microbiome in women with endometriosis.", "subitem_description_language": "en", "subitem_description_type": "Abstract"}]}, "item_1617186643794": {"attribute_name": "Publisher", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_1522300295150": "en", "subitem_1522300316516": "John Wiley \u0026 Sons Australia, Ltd"}]}, "item_1617186702042": {"attribute_name": "Language", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_1551255818386": "eng"}]}, "item_1617186920753": {"attribute_name": "Source Identifier", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_1522646500366": "PISSN", "subitem_1522646572813": "1445-5781"}, {"subitem_1522646500366": "EISSN", "subitem_1522646572813": "1447-0578"}]}, "item_1617186941041": {"attribute_name": "Source Title", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_1522650068558": "en", "subitem_1522650091861": "Reproductive Medicine and Biology"}]}, "item_1617187056579": {"attribute_name": "Bibliographic Information", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"bibliographicIssueDates": {"bibliographicIssueDate": "2022-01-29", "bibliographicIssueDateType": "Issued"}, "bibliographicIssueNumber": "1", "bibliographicVolumeNumber": "21"}]}, "item_1617258105262": {"attribute_name": "Resource Type", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"resourcetype": "journal article", "resourceuri": "http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]}, "item_1617265215918": {"attribute_name": "Version Type", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_1522305645492": "VoR", "subitem_1600292170262": "http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85"}]}, "item_1617353299429": {"attribute_name": "Relation", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"subitem_1522306287251": {"subitem_1522306382014": "DOI", "subitem_1522306436033": "https://doi.org/10.1002/rmb2.12441"}}]}, "item_1617605131499": {"attribute_name": "File", "attribute_type": "file", "attribute_value_mlt": [{"accessrole": "open_access", "date": [{"dateType": "Available", "dateValue": "2023-03-30"}], "download_preview_message": "", "file_order": 0, "filename": "Reprod Medicine Biology - 2022 - Oishi - Microbiome analysis in women with endometriosis Does a microbiome exist in.pdf", "filesize": [{"value": "747 KB"}], "future_date_message": "", "is_thumbnail": false, "mimetype": "", "size": 747000.0, "url": {"objectType": "fulltext", "url": "https://u-ryukyu.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2019669/files/Reprod Medicine Biology - 2022 - Oishi - Microbiome analysis in women with endometriosis Does a microbiome exist in.pdf"}, "version_id": "f5c10323-aab9-4460-ad72-dfa4f6399fd4"}]}, "item_title": "Microbiome analysis in women with endometriosis: Does a microbiome exist in peritoneal fluid and ovarian cystic fluid?", "item_type_id": "59", "owner": "8", "path": ["1642838338003", "1642838409905"], "permalink_uri": "http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12000/0002019669", "pubdate": {"attribute_name": "PubDate", "attribute_value": "2023-03-30"}, "publish_date": "2023-03-30", "publish_status": "0", "recid": "2019669", "relation": {}, "relation_version_is_last": true, "title": ["Microbiome analysis in women with endometriosis: Does a microbiome exist in peritoneal fluid and ovarian cystic fluid?"], "weko_shared_id": -1}
