Milne Edwards, 1834), メダマヒメガザミC. levigatus Koch, 2021, アミメヒメガザミ (新称) C. orbicularis (Richters, 1880) およびオオモンヒメガザミ (新称) C. suborbicularis (Stephenson, 1975) を報告した. このうちアミメヒメガザミは日本初記録である. 本報告ではこれら4種の識別形質についても詳細に記した. 本研究で使用した小笠原諸島産のオオモンヒメガザミの標本は, 吉田 (2017) でサメハダヒメガザミと同定されていた標本である. さらに本研究では, Sakai (1965) で図示されているサメハダヒメガザミは, ヨロンヒメガザミCavoportunus dubius (Laurie, 1906) であることも指摘した., Four species of portunid crabs of the genus Cycloachelous Ward, 1942 [C. granulatus (H. Milne Edwards, 1834), C. levigatus Koch, 2021, C. orbicularis (Richters, 1880) and C. suborbicularis (Stephenson, 1975)], were reported based on the specimens collected from the Ryukyu and Ogasawara Islands, southern Japan. Cycloachelous orbicularis is newly added to the Japanese fauna. Diagnostic characters of the four species are documented in detail. Yoshida (2017) recorded C. granulatus from Ogasawara Islands, but the specimen is here reidentified as C. suborbicularis. This study also indicates that Sakai’s (1965) illustration of “C. granulatus” is instead of Cavoportunus dubius (Laurie, 1906).},
