The maerid amphipod Elasmopus nkjaf Nakamura, Nakano, Ota & Tomikawa, 2019 was collected from Ishigaki Island, Ryukyu Archipelago, Japan. This species was originally described from Miyako Island and has not been documented since its original description. The specimens from Ishigaki Island represent the second specimen-based record of the species as well as the first record of the species from a location other than the type locality. |

石垣島から採集された標本に基づき,ミヤコイソヨコエビElasmopus nkjaf Nakamura, Nakano, Ota & Tomikawa, 2019を報告する.本種は2019年に宮古島で記載され,原記載以降の標本に基づく記録が無い種である.石垣島から得られた標本は,本種の2例目の記録であるとともに,タイプ産地以外からの初記録となる. |
