内容記述 Fatigue crack tip opening stress σ_<op> and closing stress σ_<ct> can be easily determined with the relationship between the following strain functions f,h and the cyclic stress σ,f=(ε_y-β)/(ε_x+α), h=ε_y+λε_x, where ε_y and ε_x are the strains measured in the vicinity of the crack center (or the crack face), and α,β and λ are constants. With regard to small-size specimens having a center crack or notch, the accuracy of this measurement method is confirmed. If the constants α,β and λ are chosen to proper values, the crack tip opening stress σ_<op> and closing stress σ_<ot> can be judged from the inflection points of the σ-h diagram and σ-f diagram. These stresses coincide with the opening stress σ_<op> and the closing stress σ_<ct> determined by the unloading elastic compliance method.
