| 内容記述 | This paper deals with a sentence pattern "S keredomo/ga". Reviewing Sato's (1993,1994) papers, in which five functions of "keredomo/ga" are proposed, it will be pointed out that some problems still remain In her analysis.\nBased on the observation that "S keredomo/ga" tend to occur as an answer for a question, a hypothesis will be presented: when the speaker uses "S keredomc/ga. s/he is afraid that s/he is not providing enough information which satisfies the motivation of the inquiry.\nIt will be suggested that some data, which cannot be explained by former anayses, are explained with this hypothesis. | |||||||||
