内容記述 | In order to simulate the formation of the Tibetan Plateau, several models are constructed assuming the crust as Newtonian fluid and the upper mantle lithosphere as rigid body. Calculations are performed for the period of 0.1 Ma after the collision because of the limitation of boundary conditions and the assumption of rigid lithosphere. Remarkable results are (1) emergence of Tibetan Plateau with 4000 m in height and (2) occurrence of great foredeep at the collided zone.
