Sonneratia alba had the highest leaf photosynthetic rate as 20 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e, Rhizophora stylosas=13 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza=8 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e, Kandelia candel=15 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e, Avicennia marina=13 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e, Nypa fruticans=9.3 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e, and Lumnitzera racemosa=9 \u03bcmol m^\u003c-2\u003es^\u003c-1\u003e.
