内容記述 本研究は, 培養条件下での環境制御を通して光合成能力を高め, 培養期間の短縮化を図るための基礎資料を得ることを目的として実施した。特に, パインアップル培養植物の光合成能力の違いを明らかにするために培地の糖含量との関係を調べた。得られた結果の要約は以下の通りである。1. 培養植物の光合成は午前中で最大値を示し, その後は低下した。2. 気相型酸素電極を用いた培養植物の測定条件は, 流量1L・min^<-1>, CO_2濃度3%, 光強度900μmol・m^<-2>・s^<-1>, 葉ディスク面積は2.5(cm)^2以上が最適であった。3. パインアップル培養植物は, 培養の初期段階で光合成能力を有し, 成長と共に高まった。4. パインアップル培養植物体のリンゴ酸含量は昼夜変化を示し, 成長に伴ってリンゴ酸含量のピーク値が増加した。5. 培養条件下では, 培地の糖含量が光合成能力の抑制因子であった。6. 培養条件下では, パインアップルの培養植物はC_3型光合成的ガス交換とCAM植物に特異的なリンゴ酸の日変化がみられ, CAM cycling状態であることが明かとなった。
