沖縄におけるヒカンザクラの開花期と地域差および標高差について, 1994年開花の同植物を対象に比較調査を行った。調査地域は八重岳山道の3ケ所の他, 那覇の2ケ所, 浦添, 宜野湾と名護, 今帰仁, 大宜味, 国頭の2ケ所である。調査は開花および出葉の程度を10レベルに分けて定期的に行い, それぞれのグループ毎の比較を行った。得られた調査結果の概要は次の通りである。1. 八重岳の低標高地と中南部における開花の地域差については, 中南部が遅い開花を示す中で嘉数区とは差がないが, 伊祖, 末吉とは差があり, 与儀とは大きな差が見られた。2. 北部地区内における地域差については, 喜如嘉では八重岳と同様の早い開花で, 他の地域についてはわずかな遅れが見られる程度であった。3. 八重岳の山道における標高差については, 山頂, 麓付近で開花が早く, 中腹付近は有意差のあるほどの遅れであった。4. 出葉は開花直後に始まって開花とほぼ同様の遅速の傾向を示すが, 八重岳の麓付近では開花終了前に出葉し始める個体が多く, 一般の発育の様相と異なる面も見られた。5. 名護, 那覇における最低温度は本調査年度の12月, 1月においてかなり大きく, 開花期の早晩における地域差, 標高差への関与が伺われた。 |

The flowering time of Prunus campanurata related with different location and elevation in Okinawa were investigated on the blossom season in 1993. Flowering and leaf expanding aspects were compared by various location such as 3 different elevation at Yaedake, 2 places at Naha, Urasoe, Ginowan, 2 places at Kunigami, Ohgimi, Nakijin and Nago. Comparison were carried out by dividing 10 grades on flowering and leaf expanding aspects. The outline of results obtained are as follows. 1. Earlier flowerings were observed at lower place of Yaedake followed at Kakazu, Iso, Sueyosi and delayed 3 weeks at Yogi plot in Naha. 2. There are not so different flowering time at the northern regions of Okinawa, however the plants at Yaedake and Kijoka showed slightly earlier time. 3. At the roadside of Yaedake mountaine, earliest flowerings were checked at higher and lower places, though it was delayed at the middle place. 4. Aspects of leaf expanding at various places showed generally the same tendency as flowering aspects. 5. Difference of minimum temperature between Naha and Nago is also definite in 1993 season which might be affected to the flowering time of C. campanurata due to the breaking of dormant stage of flower buds. |
