1. 沖縄の3箇所の下水浄化センターの排水は, 重金属等の有害物質の含有量の観点では, 潅漑用水として十分利用可能な状況にある。しかし, ウイルスなどの病原体の調査が行われておらず, 潅漑利用にあたっては十分な調査が必要である。2. 処理水の潅漑使用に対する意識は年齢, 性, 地域, 職業別に異なる。たとえば, 高齢者より若年者の方が, また, 男性より女性が処理水利用には厳しい意識をもっている。職業別では食品販売業が最も寛容で, 飲食業関係者が最も厳しい。また, 水資源の乏しい地域ほど処理水使用には比較的肯定的である。3. 農業者は使用方法を問わなければ, 80%以上が, 処理水の潅漑利用に肯定的であり, 水源水質をそれほど問題にしていない。しかし, 消費者同様, 女性が男性より処理水利用には厳しい意識がある。4. 処理水を潅漑利用することに対する否定的な感情は, 処理水は汚いものという先入観によるものが大きい。なお, 本調査は沖縄開発庁農林水産部土地改良課の「農村環境保全調査報告書・再利用水の農業利用可能性に関する調査」の一環として行われたものであり, アンケート調査は沖縄県農林水産部が担当した。関係者には感謝の意を表する。 |

In this study, we analyzed the results of questionnaire about use of treated wastewater for irrigation of field. The results of the analysis are obtained as following : 1. The opinions about use of wastewater for irrigation of field is different according to the distinction of age, sex, or occupation. The following are some examples : Young people have more negative opinions about the use of treated wastewater for irrigation of field than old people. The female have more negative opinions than the male. In the distinction of occupation, people engaged in sales of foods have the most positive opinions, and people engaged in restaurant have the most negative opinions. 2. More than 80% of the farmers, which include the farmers who limit the way of use of treated wastewater, have positive opinions for use of wastewater for irrigation of the field. 3. The negative opinions for use of wastewater for irrigation of the field result from the preconception that wastewater is dirty. |
