Since dispersion and disturbance of the surface soil in the cylinder is restrained by mulching, the variance of measurment can be reduced. 5. 内容記述 以上の実験結果をまとめると1) 初期浸入と表層における空隙との間に正の相関がみられた。2) 土壌中の水分状態の差により透水性の顕著な相違が認められるので,測定の際は土壌の水分状態を明確に表示する必要がある。3) 水平浸潤抑制の目的で設けられる緩衝池は,幅10cm程度ではその抑制効果は認められず,緩衝池の大きさの検討が必要である。4) マルチングを施した場合,表面の土壌の分散,攪乱が抑制され,測定値のばらつきが減少される。5) 不透水層の位置は,シリンダーインテークレート試験に大きく影響するので,測定に際しては不透水層の有無と位置の確認が必要である。6) ベーシックインテークレート(Ib)及び定数nなどを用いた透水性の判定においては,土壌の物理条件を十分に考慮して判断しなければならない。シリンダーインテークレート測定は,これらの問題の他にも,未解決な問題を多く含んでおり,今後のより一層の活用のために検討を深め,土壌の物理性診断法として確立させる必要があると思われる。
