The lower values in the ratio of absorbance at 425nm to that at the absorbance peak gave lower values in the arrestivity. The minimum arrestivity was observed at the ratio of 25% or lower. The arrestivity decreased with increasing absorbance at the absorption peak of 555nm. The relationship was expressed as log (arrestivity)=2-a(OD), where a was a constant.
