内容記述 本研究は水牛, 牛および山羊の血液諸成分を比較検討し, 水牛の血液学的特性を明らかにすることを目的として行った。供試家畜は雄6頭, 去勢雄4頭および雌9頭の計19頭の水牛, 雌牛5頭, 雌・雄山羊各3頭であった。種間比較可能な雌について, 水牛, 牛および山羊における赤血球数は8.6,7.9,14.8×10^6/mm^3,白血球数は9.4,8.7,7.6×10^3/mm^3,血色素量は15.3,13.0,7.7g/dl, Ht値は41,31,21%で水牛と牛との間には有意差はなかったが, 水牛と山羊の間には明らかな差が認められた。しかし, 血漿蛋白質量, 血糖値およびFFAには3畜種間に差は認められなかった。赤沈速度は水牛(24.0mm/hour)が牛(0.9mm/hour)と山羊(0.2mm/hour)のいずれよりも著しく速かった。しかし, 牛と山羊の間には差が認められなかった。水牛と山羊における雌・雄間に各測定項目の差は認められなかったが, 水牛の去勢雄と雌の赤沈速度においては有意差が認められた。
