内容記述 カトレヤ(Lc. Princess Margaret × Lc. Bonnanza Giant)の幼苗を材料にして, 初期生育に対する炭素源の及ぼす影響を調査した。糖の種類については, ショ糖, 果糖, ブドウ糖, デンプンをそれぞれ2.0%の濃度で比較し, さらに, ろ過滅菌して添加したショ糖の濃度の及ぼす影響を2.0%から0%までの5段階で調査した。1.幼苗の生育に対するショ糖の濃度の影響については, 2.0%区が最もよく, 濃度が減少するにつれて, 生育が不良になることが確かめられた。2.糖の種類の影響については, ショ糖と果糖は同程度によく, ブドウ糖, デンプンについては, 両者とも炭素源としての利用は不適であると判断された。
