（平成18年度時点）・本研究は島嶼圏を抱える沖縄県の地城的な特殊性に鑑み、離島地域である宮古島の地域性を最大限に活かした今後の特別支援教育の在り方を、地域ネットワーク作りを通じて考えていこうとするものである。平成18年度は、教育、医療・保健、福祉の3つの関係分野に加えて労働の分野についても視野を広げ、これまでに個別に行われてきた障害児支援の歴史と現状についてさらに調査、研究を進めた。\\n・全ての関係諸機関に対する調査、研究が終了したことからその成果を論文に纏めた。復帰後の関係諸機関の歴史的背景を総合的に明らかにし、今後の特別支援教育の方向性を確認した上で、宮古地域特別支援連携協議会で資料として関係者に配布し、共通理解を図った。\\n・平良市教育委員会、宮古教育事務所と連携して、特に公立学校の担当者を対象とした研修会と学校支援をさらに進め、前年度の平良地区に加えて今年度は城辺地区まで範囲を広げることができた。\\n・平成17年度は、毎月行われている県の巡回医療相談・訓練に宮古養護学校と連携しながら教育相談窓口を同時に開設した。このことで、各種相談機関が一本化され、保護者や関係職員がより利用しやすい相談体制が整ったが、養護学校職員の勤務にっいて支障が生じた。これを受けて平成18年度はこの相談活動を「出張教育相談」として、宮古地域特別支援連携協議会の事業として正式に取り入れ、養護学校職員が地域支援コーディネーターとして正規に相談に当たれるように図った。\\n・平成17年度に宮古地域特別支援連携協議会が立ち上がった。平成17年度から18年度にかけて行った協議会事業を行う中で、専門家チームの在り方や教育相談、学校支援に当たっての課題が改めて浮き彫りとなった。現在平成19年度の連携協議会の構成に向けて、考慮すべき内容の整理を行い、宮古教育事務所と連携しながら準備作業を行っている。",
