This experimental research concentrates on investigations of the connection and also the general behavior of continuous girder by static bending test. At different load steps which are gradually increased up to failure of the test beams, width and distribation of cracks, slip between deck and precast girder, compressive and teusile strain and deflection are measured, from which general behaviors of the test beams are analysed experimentally. From the analysis mentioned above, it is concluded that the proposed technique guarantees the continuity at mid-span and the girders with the proposed connection behave as continuous without reducing any flexuraI regidity.
