"公共交通機関が十分に供給できない地方都市郊外では,その利便性の低さから自家用車が多く利用されている.特に通勤時や退勤時といった交通需要が高まる時間帯においては郊外部と都心部を結ぶ道路において渋滞が起きやすく深刻な問題となっている.本稿では,デマンドバスを利用して地方都市郊外の乗客を集約し,大型車両によって都心部まで輸送する新たな交通システムについて提案し,さらにクラスタリングを用いた効率的なデマンドバス経路生成手法について述べる.評価実験では沖縄県那覇通勤圏をモデルに構築したネットワーク上でパーソントリップ調査報告書に基づいたシミュレーションを行い,提案手法の有効性について評価した.提案手法は,既存の固定路線バスに比べて同等の旅行時間で移動ができ,かつ旅行手段へのアクセス性が良くなることを示した.また,従来のデマンドバスとの比較においては単位時間あたりのデマンド処理数が多くなる状況において,利用効率が良くなることを示した.",
