内容記述 吸虫の被嚢幼虫をタナイス目甲殻類 (ハナダカアプセウデス Longiflagrum nasutus) から初めて発見した. 寄生部位は胸節体腔内であり, 宿主37個体中13個体に感染が認められた. 形態的特徴および3遺伝子 (18S rRNA, 28S rRNA, ITS1) の配列情報から, 本吸虫はMicrophallidae科の1種だと判断された. Microphallidae科吸虫の終宿主特異性は高くないが, 主として鳥類だと考えられている. タナイス類は鳥類の胃内容物から見出されることがあり, ハナダカアプセウデスは採集地, ラムサール条約登録湿地である漫湖干潟に多産する種類である. このことから, 今回見つかった吸虫類幼虫の終宿主は鳥類であることが考えられる.
