| 内容記述 | 記述は，同治11年8月25日から光緒13年（1887年，明治20） 4月29日条までの15年間に及ぶ。八重山島で最高位の頭役（三人制） に任命された日から書き起こされた公務日記である （宮良間切の頭役となったことから宮良親雲上と称する）。 首里城での任命儀礼や王府役人との関係，地元八重山での公務 （例えば，村々・島々を巡察する「親廻り」など）， 王府から派遣された在番との関係，など多岐にわたる。 頭役の具体的な公務内容が分かるだけでなく， 清明祭の導入など家祭祀に関わる事項も散見される。 また，「琉球処分」（1879年）前後の政治社会的動向に関わる事項も見られるなど， 貴重な史料である。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The diary spans across 15 years from 25 August, 1872 to 29 April, 1887. This is an official diary of the highest position in Yaeyama, namely the (three-person) Kashira. (Miyara was only awarded the title Peechin after he became the Kashira of Miyara Magiri.) The diary includes details on relationships with the Shuri government officials and the Zaibans dispatched by them; the appointment ceremony that took place at Shuri Castle; the public duties at Yaeyama (eg. surveying of the islands and villages) etc. This source does not only allow us to undertand the various duties of the Kashira but also provides information on rituals and events such as the introduction of seimeisai. Furthermore it provides insight on the social and political paradigms prior to and after the disposal of Ryukyu in 1879. | |||||||||
