| 内容記述 | Documents regarding the Satsuma officials and businessmen who were proposing to visit Miyako/Yaeyama to persuade them to weave extra Hosojoufu on top of the amount required for taxation, as well as teach them new methods of weaving. They ordered the officials from Miyako and Yaeyama who were staying in Shuri/Naha to discuss the matter. The result was that Satsuma's proposal was rejected on the grounds that their teachings of new methods would interfere with current production. | |||||||
